We recently celebrated my Grandpa's 75th birthday.

Normally, we'd have a big dinner at home then go out for dinner another night so we could celebrate with family who couldn't make it the night of. Going out to eat brings a sense of normalcy to this mess. 

In October, our Oregon family flew in to celebrate our cousin's first birthday. We were so happy they could come visit and that they rented a place in Kihei. It was a very special time. 

We have limited space at our rental but planning on a small Christmas tree or at least decorations. 

Please remember to give thanks and to treat each other with kindness.
